1、 Introduction:

The power junction box is specially designed and manufactured by Shaanxi blue sea Electric Co., Ltd. for small civil aircraft to control and protect the aircraft generator, switch the power from the generator, battery, external power supply and starter, and process various signals to meet the power demand of the aircraft under various conditions.

The design refers to the requirements specified in the relevant technical documents and standards of civil aviation to ensure the reliability, universality and good electrical performance of the power junction box, as well as the adaptability in various environments during the installation and ground test.

2、 Main functions

The power junction box is mainly composed of generator control device, main power contactor, battery contactor, start contactor, external power contactor, current sensor and external power socket. It is mainly used for:

1) Deliver DC normal power supply and DC emergency power supply to onboard power grid;

2) Control and protect the main power supply;

3) Start control of aircraft engine;

4) Provide external power to the aircraft;

5) Provide battery current indication signal and generator low voltage alarm signal to avionics system.

6） When the aircraft generator works normally, the main power supply provides charging power for the battery;

7) Under the condition that the above functions are satisfied, the output lines of the main power supply and the battery shall be independent of each other, and each has two output lines;

8) The ground power supply supplies the whole electromechanical network through the power junction box.
